Hi, my name is Jon Reeves. My beautiful wife Amber and I live in Ft. Worth, TX, and I am a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University and Brite Divinity School. My journey to a theology of peace recently began when I questioned the status quo ideas with which I was raised. I'm from small -town America, and my natural inclination has always led me to patriotism and nationalism. It is only of late that I have begun to ponder what it means to put Christ before nation; rather, my faith before my feelings.

My education has greatly influenced me to be open to these ideas through the reading of John Yoder, Richard Hays, and Stanley Hauerwas. I hope to continue this path of education in the future as I work on my PhD.
