Jong-Hyun was reared in the Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, South Korea and earned his Master of Divinity in Theology from Hansei University in Kunpo, South Korea (2004) and the B.S. in Sociology from Seoul National University (2001).  He is currently an M.A. Candidate in Public Policy at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA, specializing in Religion and Public Policy.  He engaged in extensive research on the Yoido Full Gospel Church from 2000-2008 with the Institute for Church Growth in Seoul and he is currenlty engaged in research on Korean Pentecostals and public policy.  Jong-Hyun serves on the editoral board of Pax Pneuma.
