Elder Dr. David A. Hall, Sr. is CEO of the Church of God in Christ publishing house and pastor of historic Temple Church of God in Christ in Memphis, Tennessee (founded and served by Bishop Charles H. Mason). Dr. Hall also represented Bishop Blake, presiding bishop of COGIC, at the Faith in Human Rights conference in The Hague (click here for newspaper article). He was also the keynote speaker at the first annual PCPJ retreat, Oct. 7-9, 2005. He is the author of Essays to the Next Generation: Issues Vital to the Life, Salvation and Survival of the Church of God in Christ (2004). Dr. Hall has served the the Church of God in Christ for twenty-five years. He has held positions with the publishing board and edited The Whole Truth. He has served on many national boards and committees. Dr. Hall holds the B.A. from Butler University (Indianapolis, IN), the M.Div. from Mason Theological Seminary of the Interdenominational Theological Center (Atlanta, GA), and the D.Min. from McCormick Theological Seminary (Chicago, IL). He has been the recipient of major fellowships and awards from the Fund for Theological Education, Eli Lilly Endowment/Fellowship and several other academic recognitions.
