10. Everyone should belong to at least one organization whose very NAME will raise eyebrows and lead to questions.
9. Jesus said, "Blessed are the peacemakers" and you want to be able to name and claim that blessing.
8. This is a great chance to connect with all the radical peacemakers in your Pentecostal roots.
7. You get to meet and befriend a wide diversity of Christian peacemakers from all over the world whom you might otherwise never know.
6. Children deserve as peaceful a world as possible. Help work for a more peaceful world for children you love, yours, the children of your church, nieces & nephews, etc.
5. When Jesus returns, he'll expect to find us faithful to his Way.
4. Peacemaking in a world of insane and sinful violence takes miracles and the folks in PCPJ really believe in miracles.
3. Nonviolent, peacemaking Christians have a lifestyle and message that is inviting--and so aids evangelism and mission.
2. The PCPJ motto: "Jesus-shaped Spirit-empowered peace and justice" should be the guiding principle of ALL CHRISTIANS.
And the Number One Reason to Join/Support Pentecostals & Charismatics for Peace & Justice is:
Jesus would do it.
