Both raised Assemblies of God pastors kids, we've both been raised pentecostal. In fact we met at the AG General Council in Kansas City a few years back. When Ross graduated from Texas Tech, we were married and he moved to Harrisburg, to be near Angela while she finished out at Messiah College. Disillusioned by the war in Iraq and the Evangelical Right's automatic partisan stamp of approval we found ourselves drawn towards the Anabaptists and Quakers in the area. We became attenders of the Harrisburg Friend's Meeting (Quakers) where our peace witness became more developed. Ross currently works in an urban community center where he, among other things, co-runs the Jr. High/High School program and the Mentoring Program which connects kids in the city to local college students. Angela is finishing her Philosophy degree from Messiah College.
