A pioneer of (post)modern thinking, Jean Jacques Derrida passed away on Friday, October 8th. The founder of the Deconstructionalists suffered with cancer and was 75. Having changed the landscape of literary theory, Derrida also worked toward justice for immigrants and to end apartheid in South Africa.
